5 Franc Fun Day in Elm
In keeping with tradition, the "Südostschweiz" and Elm Mountain Lifts
are presenting the popular Five Franc Fun Day.
Ride up the mountain on the Elm – Ämpächli Gondola
and the Schabell Chairlift for just CHF 5
Operation of the Schabell Chairlift will only be open with good weather.
Around the Ämpächli Mountain Restaurant
there'll be lots of attractions for young and old alike:
- Musical entertainment (folk music)
- Large playground with two giant trampolines, sand island,
dome climber, pedal cars, open air bowling alley and much more - Elmar's Goldmine, petting zoo with young pygmy goats
- 4 km scooter and mountain cart run from Ämpächli to Elm
- Giant Forest with exciting adventure stations - circular hike approx. 1 hour
- Obererbs - Ämpächli Alpine Path (wonderful panoramic hike)
Dining
The Ämpächli Mountain Restaurant, with its large sun terrace, the incredibly cosy Älpli Chalet, and the sunny chalet "Munggä Hüttä" are all open on 5 Franc Fun Day. We're looking forward to spoiling you with culinary delights!
Lifts: Hours of Operation
- Elm–Ämpächli Gondola 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Schabell Chairlift: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(Chairlift runs only in good weather)
