Obererbs–Ämpächli Alpine Path

Discover flora and fauna while marvelling at the spectacular, ever-changing scenery from an altitude of about 1600 m as you hike from Obererbs across Bischofalp to Ämpächli. Barbecue sites along the way invite you to relax and enjoy a picnic.

Most of the trail runs through the Freiberg Kärpf, the oldest wildlife preserve in Europe. The hike is especially suitable for families, schools, clubs, and seniors.

09:39 / 10:39 / 11:19 a.m. and 01:39 / 03:39 p.m. descent from Obererbs to Elm Mountain Lifts (only by advance booking before 3 p.m. at the Obererbs Ski Chalet, Sportbahnen Elm or by telephoning Autobetriebe Sernftal +41 (0) 55 642 17 17).

Note: You can ride to the valley from the gondola mountain station by scooter or mountain cart.
