Mine Tour 3 Guided tour of the Landesplattenberg slate mine and Ämpächli alpine meadow visit
Walk to the Plattenhüttli stone cabin to enjoy a Glarus-style aperitif and then explore the mine's extensive tunnel system with a knowledgable guide. The highlight of the tour is the acoustic sound and light show.
The excursion then relocates to the Ämpächli alpine meadow (1500 m). A further 20 minute walk leads you to the cosy Älpli Chalet, where you can enjoy your pre-ordered lunch while marvelling at the panoramic alpine view of the Sardona tectonic arena. To top it off, take the gondola back down to the valley or whiz down on a mountain scooter or mountain cart!
