Discover the world of slate

Visit the slate factory and the Ämpächli Alpine Meadow

Our excursion begins with a visit to the slate factory (optional refreshments before or after the tour possible).

Following the factory tour, it is a short 10 minute walk to the valley station of the Elm Mountain Lifts where a gondola whisks you up to the Ämpächli alpine meadow (1500m). A further 20 minute walk leads you to the cosy Älpli Chalet, where you can enjoy your pre-ordered lunch while marvelling at the panoramic alpine view of the Sardona tectonic arena. To top it off, take the gondola back down to the valley or whiz down on a mountain scooter or three-wheeled mountain cart!
